Comprehensive Surface Evaluation
Before any material is installed, our team conducts a thorough evaluation of the subfloor. We assess its condition, checking for any cracks, moisture issues, or unevenness that could affect the integrity of the flooring. If there are any issues, we address them head-on to ensure a smooth, stable surface.
Surface Cleaning & Repair
We believe in starting with a clean slate. Our team meticulously cleans the subfloor to remove any dust, debris, or contaminants. For damaged areas, we carry out necessary repairs, filling cracks, patching holes, and smoothing out imperfections to create a uniform surface.
Moisture Control
Moisture can be one of the biggest threats to flooring longevity, especially in environments like below grade or concrete slabs. As part of our prep process, we test for moisture levels and, when necessary, apply moisture barriers to protect your investment and ensure optimal adhesion.
Self-Leveling Systems
For floors that have any dips or uneven spots, we use advanced self-leveling compounds to create a perfectly flat surface. This ensures that the final floor installation is level and even, preventing any future issues with tile or flooring material installation.
Moisture Control
We apply the appropriate primers and bonding agents that work best with the specific flooring materials you're choosing. This step ensures a strong bond between the subfloor and the flooring, preventing lifting or shifting over time.
